Five southern ladies met 20 years ago on their college swim team. Vowing to stick together, The Dixie Swim Club sets “aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives," explains Dramatists Play Service. The play brings the gals back together in their 40s and takes you thru a lifetime of love, laughter, and celebration of friendship.
"Directing this play is exciting to me," exclaims Nancy Hope Major. "The humor, love and friendship of these five ladies enable them to face what curves life throws at them. All in the audience are sure to smile, laugh, and relate to these ladies. All will either see themselves or someone they know as they watch this funny play."

JRT was excited to announce a brand new starring cast: Katy Rosolowski as Sheree, Janie Jessee as Lexie, Stacey Bracey as Dinah, Anne Reever Osborne as Jeri Neal and Emily Newland as Vernadette.
This was a directorial debut for Nancy Hope Major. I first met Nancy Hope four years ago,” says JRT’s Artistic Director, Kathleen Buttolph. “She auditioned and was cast in the show that re-opened JRT in 2004 - Maggie’s Getting Married. Nancy Hope is a woman of many talents. Not only is she an amazing actress, but she has a great eye for the stage. She knows the world of theatre and has embraced the directing process with finesse.”
