Music on the Square - On the Courthouse square. Every Friday evening, 7 p.m., from May through September. Local and regional musicians perform old-time & Appalachian music, folk, bluegrass, and contemporary sounds.

Historic Jonesborough Dance Society - Chartered in the Fall of 2005 as a non-profit, educational organization to promote a better understanding and appreciation of American folk dancing, its music, its history and related folklore.
