The Jonesborough Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for the 1940s USO Christmas Show on Monday and Tuesday, September 24 and 25, at 7:00 p.m. Auditions are open to ages 16 and up. If interested in singing a solo, you’ll need to come with a prepared 1-minute piece. An accompanist will be present. Please have music clearly marked and in a binder. 1940s style music is encouraged. Actors will also do a cold reading as well as dance to 40s-style swing and tap. Bring character, jazz and/or tap shoes. Auditions will be at the theatre at 125½ W. Main St, Jonesborough.
