This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

This production (It's A Wonderful Life), is a recreation of a 1940s radio broadcast. Soooooo....there are NO age ranges to worry about.
There are NO physical character descriptions to worry about.
There is NO singing or dancing to worry about.
There is only the VOICE.
NOTE: If you are a fan of The Simpsons cartoon show, you'll be interested to know that the main cast of six
voice actors, performs the dozens of regular characters in the show each week. And, unless you've done
some research, you probably don't know which actor "voices" which character. That's what we're looking for.

AUDITIONERS:
Please prepare a brief monologue (less than 60 seconds) to show off your speaking voice.
Auditioners may be asked to do their monologue a second time with a different vocal impersonation,
to make their character older, younger, angrier, or nicer, etc. Auditioners may read their monologue.
No need to memorize anything. Print out your monologue in large type, so it's easy for you to read.
If you can pull off a foreign dialect (Irish, Italian, German, British), please indicate that when you sign up.
All actors in the cast (3 women, 4 men) will be expected to create as many as five or six different characters in the show.
